President's Message...
Spring Has Sprung
Spring has finally come to Georgia, and new growth and re-growth are occurring everywhere in nature. My grass is starting to green up, flowers and trees are blooming, and annuals are popping up everywhere. Growth is good in nature and even in our offices. We are seeing the same growth in our Chiropractic office. We have seen an influx of returning patients, new patients, and existing patients; and I hope you are too! The GCC is experiencing the same growth and we couldn’t be more excited about it! If you are already a member...THANK YOU! We also just came off an amazing board meeting on April 9th. It was great to have so many students and docs as visitors during our meeting so they can see the process by which we make sure that Georgia chiros have every opportunity to be as successful as possible. Our next meeting is May 14th. If you plan on attending please let Katrine, at the home office, know so we have enough chairs and agendas to go around.
On April 26 we held our first on-campus social for students and doctors. Those who were there had a fantastic time socializing and networking. Be sure to join us again next quarter. Last weekend was also Dynamic Essentials in Sarasota. If you’ve never been to DE or to Sarasota, you've missed a truly amazing event including the opportunity to tour the BJ Palmer Historic house.
And now we're rolling into May!!! And May 5th we will be hosting a huge event, at the Life U. Treehouse, called CINCO DE CHIRO! A taco bar and Mexican inspired beverages will be served along with some kick-ass speakers. We are bringing in Drs. Cheryl Langley, Devin Vrana, and Lyle Koca! It’s gonna be a night of food, fun, and Philosophy you won’t want to miss.
Coming soon: look for a link to some seriously good-looking apparel from the GCC as well.

Success in Life (and in Chiropractic)
 You need the foundation stones of character, faith, integrity, love, and loyalty. You will discover that if you compromise any of these fundamental principles. You will end up with only a beggar’s portion of what life has to offer to you and those around you. If you use dishonesty, deceit, or fraud, you might reach some of your goals and acquire a lot of money but you will have only a few real friends and little peace of mind. That is not success. The man who earns millions of dollars at the expense of his own health is not really a success. The person who alienates his family in his climb to the top is not a success.
The longer I live and the more people I meet, the more convinced I become that these foundation stones are the most critical weapons we have in our arsenal to succeed. In a time of crisis or emergency, those people with whom we deal, and on whom a part of our future, wealth and happiness depends, will finally act properly and start to fully cooperate if we are persistent enough and if they realize that our integrity and loyalty are beyond question.
In fact, the real essence of success lies deep down inside each of you. B.J. Palmer called it “That Something.” This inner power is always available to you. Call it what you will, it is there.
The GCC is going to help you use more of your own inner power, we are going to teach you how to practice with definiteness of purpose and how to enjoy the success you desire to be both happy and prosperous. We are going to help you learn how to get to the top by getting to the bottom of these essential principles.
You probably want a more successful life, be a better husband or wife, a bigger practice, more leisure time, more happiness, more security, and more money. You probably want also to be a better chiropractor and to contribute more to your fellow man…All of this is available to you, but first, you have to become centered on your major purpose, giving up your ego, and adopting a lasting purpose of loving, giving and serving.
There’s a place for you, and we expect to see you.

Help Save BJ Palmer's Winter Home...
The BJ Palmer Historic Home Foundation is asking for your help. This year, 2018, they would like to raise $100K which is the amount needed in order to maintain and keep the property. This includes 60K for annual expenses and 40K needed for repair on the dock and seawall. Additional fundraising will continue after that - with the ultimate goal being to keep the home in perpetuity for future generations of chiropractors to visit and enjoy. The goal is to keep and maintain the property, and it is the hope of the B.J. Palmer Historic Home Foundation that ALL chiropractors will have a vested interest in this worthy project.
